Here's how it works.
A good project doesn't need a kickoff deck, three account managers, and a status meeting about the status meeting. You talk to the person designing and building it, and decisions happen in days. Most of what we make is websites. We build web apps too, like customer portals and full SaaS products.

From hello to launch
The timing below is for a typical website. Apps take longer.

Day one
We talk
Tell us about the business, who it's for, and what isn't working right now. Send a few sites you love, even if they're nothing like yours, and a few you can't stand. We'll ask a lot of questions.

Day two
You get a plan
One page, in plain English: what we'll build, what it costs, and roughly how long it'll take. If anything's fuzzy, we sort it out now instead of halfway through.

That week
We design it, together
You'll see the first pages early, in a real browser, in light and dark. Tell us what feels off and we'll change it, usually the same day. We don't count rounds or charge for extra ones.

The week after
We build it
Once the look is settled, we build the rest of the site by hand. There are no page builders or plugins slowing it down, so it's fast and accessible on any screen. This is also when we set up everything around it.

Launch day
We launch it
We point your domain at the new site, test it on real phones and computers, and flip the switch. Then we show you how to edit it, which takes about five minutes.

You run it
You change your own words and photos whenever you like. When you need something bigger, like a new page or a new feature, you email the same person who built it.

No templates. No plugins.
A lot of websites start life as a template and a stack of plugins. That's quick to set up. Alas, you end up with a site that looks like plenty of others, plus a database and a steady stream of updates. Any one of them can break the site or let someone in.
We design each site from scratch, then build it as a static site. That means plain, prebuilt pages served from data centers around the world, so they load fast wherever your visitors are. No database to break into, and nothing to patch every month.
We're also stingy about what goes on the page. No heavy frameworks, no scripts you didn't ask for, and only as much JavaScript as the page actually needs. Shipping less is the most reliable way to make a site fast.
